Today was my last day here in hospital. I woke up at 5.30, because thatxe2x80x99s what you do when you have nightshift. I talked with nurse Hellen and Nelly about our leaving today. It was a very serious conversation. At 8 oxe2x80x99clock I went home. First, Amy and me went to the bakery shop, to get our ordered cake. When we came back, we cleaned our home. During this, we tried to think of words to say when we have to speak in this afternoon. The director organised a meeting special for us. We bought some frames and put some photos in there, so we had a present. When the home was cleaned, we went to the meeting room. Everyone was sitting there. The director did a speech, 2 nurses did one and I gave a speech. I was very nervous. The mood was good, so nobody did cry. I felt really happy about that. Because when someone would start to cry, I was going to follow. But ok, we got a present! They gave us all an Ulos, a Batak blanket. Itxc2xb4s a very special one, because the name of the hospital, government en my name are written on it! Itxc2xb4s very special to me and I will give it a very special place in my room. After we gave our presents, we ate some Batak snacks, the cake and drank some Teh Manis. Time to take some photos! After the meeting, we decided to go and visit a nurse at home. She is one of the youngest ones, so one of our best friends. Last week she became sick, we only new she had made a brainscan in Medan. She asked us to come and visit her, because she was very sad she couldnxc2xb4t come to our meeting earlier. After the visit, I was really glad we went to her home. She suffered from some braindamage. The lively and happy Tety, had turned into a very slow and sick person. She laid in her bed and it took her so much effort to say some words to her. The brainscan in Medan didnxc2xb4t tell anything. The doctor said she might have a braintumor. Next year, she need to take another scan. Bad luck they didnxc2xb4t have a scanning machine like in the Netherlandsxe2x80xa6 But anyway, she was really happy to see us one more time and she asked us to pray for her. When we were in the bus for the last time to TukTuk, I was thinking. The farewell party was not so bad. But what felt hard, was to see Tety like that. I did not see her for one week, and what had happened! So the first thing I did when I went to bed last night, I prayed for herxe2x80xa6Now itxc2xb4s all finished. Itxc2xb4s not getting through yet. I have holiday, but Ixc2xb4m not getting it. This whole adventure is nearly finished, but why! I want to stay, stay with my friends at hospital and have some more shifts! I feel at home her, I can follow the language and I enjoy everything. Why I have holiday now? I just donxc2xb4t feel like changing my life again. I did 3 times before, in Australia and back and when I came her. It doesnxc2xb4t feel right, but itxc2xb4s something you have to go through. So I look forward to go to Australia and I look forward to go home. But I donxc2xb4t look forward to leave here, itxc2xb4s my 3th home!
